UPDATED 3/6/10 by TheRexion who is much cooler  Wink
UPDATED 2/7/10 by Goodlookinguy

All the features I have logged so far

Game Starter (Starter Games for people new to the engine)
- Default (Starts on Beginner Mode)
- Fire Emblem (Starts on Beginner Mode)
- Final Fantasy Tactics (Starts on Novice Mode)

Program Mode - Modes can be changed at any time
- Beginner
- Novice
- Advanced
- Expert (Direct Source Code Modification - Read Manual!)

Map Mode
- Isometric and Flat Battle System (specify on each map (Novice Mode+) or set entire game up for one type(Beginner+))
- Height System (Isometric Mode MUST be ON | Novice Mode+)
- In battle events (Including Obtaining Characters, shops, etc.)
- Partial/Permanent Death
- In-Battle Revival System (Novice Mode+)

After Battle (Optional Triggers)
- Revive Character
- Shop
- Story (Event Triggers)

Characters (After this part, the list just kinda gets messy. It's not really my fault. - Goodlookinguy)
- Items/Weapons/Etc Duration (Novice Mode+)
- Weight System (This requires a bit of mathematical knowledge | Novice Mode+  |  So.. you need to be intelligerent to do of the being figuring stuffs out? - Smart Dude)
- Movement (Height/Weight Restrictions Requires | Can be very complicated | Novice Mode+)
- Critical Animations [optional]
- Dodge Animations [optional]
- Pre-battle maps
- Aggressive System (Sometimes referred to as 'aggro' | Beginner Mode has a preset system | Novice Mode+)

- Enemies have an inventory you can set (They can use potions, etc. when they need to)

- Weapons have an element, and are strong against certain classes [Rapier vs Knight: Fire Emblem] (You have to set up elements if you want it | Novice Mode+)

- If you have a certain weapon equipped you are weak against another type of weapon [Fire Emblem] (You have to set up weaknesses and resistances | Novice Mode+)

--------------------
*Sub Category: Stat Building

- Stats that are set to increase every level
Example:
Name: Person
Level: 1
HP: 18
STR: 6
SKILL: 4 (Goodlookinguy never made a stat called Skill : P - Goodlookinguy | Goodlookinguy needs to make a stat called Skill - Smart Dude)
DEF: 5
MAG: 2

Level: 2
HP: BASE STAT +1
STR: BASE STAT +1
SKILL: BASE STAT
DEF: BASE STAT +1
MAG: BASE STAT
[You set all those stats by yourself - Beginner Mode, yeah, it doesn't require that much work]

- Stats that increase NOT because of level (a.k.a. a non-level based system | Think, Final Fantasy 2 | Exp NEEDS to be disabled | Advanced Mode+)
----------------------
#NOTE: A lot of the things below this were written by TheRexion as ideas. However, many may be implemented.

- Weapon Enhancements, Add status effects (Poison, Sleep, etc.) and/or status abilities (ATK, DEF, ETC.) to enhance regular weapons. (Advanced Mode+ is necessary because it's complicated)

^^Weapon EXP/ You have certain skill in one type of weapon [Fire Emblem] (Goodlookinguy doesn't know what the hell this is - Goodlookinguy | You have a certain proficiency in, oh hell with this, just go get a fire emblem rom and a GBA emulator to see what I mean. - Smart Dude)
Iron Sword/E : Dragon Rapier/S

- Online Stuff (A later on feature, maybe | Probably not : P - Goodlookinguy)

- Extras menu (Expert Mode, requires soure code modification)

- Pets/Summoning (Advanced Mode+)

- Fog of War, You cannot see enemies that are not within your range (Novice Mode+)
Example from TheRexion: Each unit has a sight range/ Thieves can see the best [Fire Emblem]

- Victory Conditions (Beginner Mode+)
Explanation by TheRexion: Get to a certain spot, Seize gate, survive # turns with an area
where you can set the number and Seize gate, when you get to that spot it gives
you the option to seize, you must seize to finish)

- Weapons that you use on allies to heal them (This fits more into the category of items handling - Goodlookinguy | Um, your mother?  - Smart Dude)

- Bigger and smaller Screen Resoloution (Expert mode | I really don't like screwing with this)

- AVI Video Player (This might be more trouble than I'm acting like it's going to be - Goodlookinguy | It isn't really needed, just something that could possibly be added once the more important features are in. - Smart Dude)

-Title Screen Intro (AVI or bunch of pics)
Maybe you could expand and use other video types (Goodlokinguy says, 'no' - Goodlookinguy | I agree, with idiot thought of doing that? XD - Smart Dude)

- Towns (Novice Mode+)
Explanation by TheRexion: you visit a town and talk to them, maybe get an item and if the enemy visits a town it is destoyed [Fire Emblem] It also puts a new option on the menu "Visit"

-Customizable damage calculations, Options (Novice Mode+)

-Customizable GUI (To an extent - Goodlookinguy)

-Enemy Spawn points (Or close to the location and a logical # of turns + Random Modifier to make the spawning more sporadic)
Explanation by TheRexion: Every # of turns a certain type of enemy would spawn from a specified point on the map until turn # [Fire Emblem]

-Auto Enemy Color( It turns all enemies RED, no matter what color they are) (I have no idea why they would be different colors in the first place to need to be changed : P - Goodlookinguy | the color would be blue or green, but that wouldn't be good with everyone so this was a stupid dream Idea of mine. - Smart Dude)
--Auto Ally Color( It turns all allies BLUE, no matter what color they are | Still stupid. - Smart Dude)
---Auto Nuetral Color( It turns all Neutral Units GREEN, no matter what color they are | Another chance at stupidity. - Smart Dude)
+If you want to change to color(EXPERT MODE)

- Level Cap = 999999 (Even though it's a bit extreme - Goodlookinguy)
- Map HP = 999999999
- Map MP = 999999999
-- I figured that would satisfy everyones needs for level. (Also, I'm a heavy Disgaea fan - Goodlookinguy | I'm a bigger one :0 - Smart Dude | Not until you have 36 characters at level 9999. And 6 of them being Majin's who have 180K stored level and know all of the skills from every class. You'll also need to have the Robot Armor and the sword that you steal from the item God, though I've forgotten its name. - Goodlookinguy | Yep, I'm a bigger one. - Smart Dude)
- Dual Weapons (If Enabled)
- Character Turn Over Animation
- Character Not Being Used Separate Animation

PENDING - (A.K.A. TheRexion Ideas - Goodlookinguy)
- In-Game Options Menu (Change BGM, SE and change the Battle from Animations to map battles)Fire Emblem
- Buying Generic Units (they will be blue like allies, but you name them, choose their class and they are [AI contolled<maybe>], and they take no part of the actual story)
- Promotion Animation [Fire Emblem]
- Different Platforms for battle (Terrain + Close or Long Range attack)
- Online Battles & Tournaments (Doubtfully - Goodlookinguy | My opinion, if you want something like this, code it yourself. - Smart Dude)
- Music, Player turn, Ally Attack, Defeat, Victory, Enemy Turn, Enemy Attack,et..etc.....
- In-between chapter images (This isn't just an idea, it's part of the motion-sequencing system - Goodlookinguy | Wut? - Smart Dude)
- Casting Animations (Magic Animations - Yes, this WILL be in it - Goodlookinguy)
- Custom Battle Status (Already in - Goodlookinguy)
- Custom Player status screen (Displays chars stats | Customizable to an extent - Goodlookinguy)
- Transforming Enemies (Sure, why not. Part of Aggressive System - Goodlookinguy)
- Geo Cubes [Disgaea] (This would be a blatant steal. We'll call it something else <_< - Goodlookinguy | How about Earth Plates or something. - Smart Dude)

Hey, I've decided to change the way to win battles.

You can set it these two ways
1) After All Enemies are dead (You can attach an event to the end of it)
2) Your own battle end condition allowing you to do whatever you want

If anything gets too hard, not losing yourself is one of the worst things to do. If no one tries, if everyone stays the same, not to lose themselves would prove in the future not prospering. Never forget what the point of this life is. To lose, create, learn, receive, give, forget, and to live life till the life has no more living to do. Focusing time on your emotions may result in a life not fully lived. So, never forget that forgetting yourself is the future.

That's what SIM RPG Maker 95 had, but that's why I said to add more than that
to make it easier

But those two ways alone allow you to make a ton of end battle conditions. I'm not sure what else you'd need.

I'll write up a few examples of battle end conditions.

I'm working on RPG Crisis right now. That's the number one priority. This comes after. As for updates, there's a new GUI and code generating parts have been made. I won't go into detail as they are still very early in progress. So uh huh, that's that.

I heard you were helping work on the new one, I just couldn't believe it.  But cool then.....
And that's good to know, saw the part about the enemy AI.  Sounds rad, hope to assist you if you need anything. >Tongue
